  • I don't think I'd be on someone else's property swearing at them after I let my dog pee on their lawn and I certainly wouldn't stick around after a gun was pulled and then put away to give me an opportunity to leave.

  • After he allowed his dog to pee on the guy's yard! And what's a 23 year old doing with three kids anyway? At that stage, he clearly doesn't need a dog to take care of too.

  • Its not about the lawn. Its about private property and other people coming onto it and doing inappropriate things, like allowing the dog to pee where it didn't belong, a person stepping foot there, and punching the homeowner on his own property. Dogs cause a lot of problems among neighbors.

  • Did this situation deserve an ending in which someone was shot and killed? No. Do people need to learn to keep their animals to themselves? YES. How sad that it takes murder to demonstrate the necessity of people learning to parent their animals appropriately.

  • I'm in no way defending the adult who hit a child, but even if the 15 year old didn't hear the announcement, we all know that stuff has to be turned off before the plane leaves the gate. I believe the article says the flight attendant asked him to as well.
